Zoe Valdez gives FDU steady veteran catching and contact upside
Zoe Valdez is a senior catcher for Fairleigh Dickinson who has been a durable, on-roster presence for multiple seasons and, in the 2026 season, appeared in 17 games with 10 starts while batting .217. Her value is less about flash and more about stability: she’s an experienced backstop, has shown usable contact skill at the plate, and has logged solid defensive innings for the Knights. For a team needing a mature, low-drama catcher who knows the grind, Valdez looks like a dependable fit.
