Chris Mpaka brings rim protection, efficient interior scoring, and pro-ready size to Tarleton State
Mpaka is a 6-foot-6 forward who has shown he can finish efficiently inside, rebound his area, and change shots with real block upside; in the 2024-25 season at Tarleton State, he averaged 8.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks in 19.9 minutes while shooting 50.0% from the field. He also had several high-impact games, including a 20-point, 5-block outing against Seattle U in the 2024-25 season, which hints at a motor that can swing a game. If you want size, paint presence, and easy buckets, he’s a fit; if you need a polished perimeter scorer, that’s not his lane yet.
