Daylen Love brings size, instincts, and early upside to Utah Tech’s linebacker room
Daylen Love is a 6-foot-3, 200-pound freshman linebacker at Utah Tech who arrives with a strong high-school résumé: in his senior season at San Jacinto High, he posted 84 tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, and 3 interceptions, earning first-team all-league, league defensive MVP, and all-CIF D2 honors.[5] He looks like a developmental defender with real playmaking instincts and versatility, and his basketball background hints at athletic coordination and competitive edge.[5] For a team, he is the kind of upside pickup worth betting on if you want length, range, and a high-ceiling defender who has already shown he can make impact plays.
