Battle’s a glue-guy forward with real rebounding muscle for UIC
In the 2021-22 season, Brandon Battle gave UIC a physical, efficient frontcourt option: he averaged 2.1 points and 1.8 rebounds in 9.6 minutes while shooting 51.5% from the field, after previously posting 11.6 points and 7.7 rebounds per game at Alabama State. The differentiator is the mix of toughness and versatility he brings without needing touches—he’s a 6-foot-8 forward who can battle on the glass, finish efficiently, and has shown he can scale up when asked. If your team wants low-drama production and grown-man frontcourt presence, that’s his calling card.
