Hudson Pergamit has been a volume arm for Manhattan, but the run prevention needs a reset
In the 2026 season, Hudson Pergamit has worked in 12 games with 4 starts for Manhattan, going 4-3 with 35 strikeouts in 41.1 innings, but he’s also carried an 8.27 ERA and 1.65 WHIP, so the raw results have been uneven. The upside is clear: he’s a sturdy 6-foot-1, 220-pound right-hander who has shown he can miss bats and log real innings, including a March outing where he retired every hitter he faced and struck out three. He looks like a fit for teams wanting a durable power arm who can flash swing-and-miss stuff, though command and consistency are the swing factors.
