Big-bodied lefty with starter upside, but still searching for consistency
Crochet is a 6-foot-5, 210-pound senior LHP for George Washington whose profile suggests real matchup value and rotation potential, but his 2026 line has been rough so far: 19.06 ERA with 4 strikeouts in 5.2 innings. The appeal is the frame and left-handedness, which can give a staff a different look; the question is command and damage prevention right now. If you need a projectable arm with physical upside, he fits, but his current performance says he’s still proving he can turn tools into steady results.
