Joseph Carter brings freshman backcourt upside to ETSU
As a 6-foot-1 freshman guard at East Tennessee State, Joseph Carter is an early-career piece with room to grow and develop into a reliable backcourt contributor. His value is more about projection than production right now: current season numbers are limited, so the appeal is his guard size, local Tennessee background, and the chance to mold him within a program that values toughness and development. He looks like a fit for a team that can invest in long-term guard growth rather than needing instant offense.
