Gabe Bowling brings versatility and big-play juice to Franklin’s passing game
In the 2025 season, Gabe Bowling emerged as a reliable Franklin target and added explosiveness with a 49-yard touchdown catch, while Franklin’s 2026 roster lists him as a senior WR at 5'10", 190 pounds.[11][1][9] The differentiator here is positional flexibility—he began at quarterback in 2023 before moving to receiver, which usually translates to better field vision and feel after the catch.[1] He also fits the “can do a little of everything” mold: compact, experienced, and already trusted in the offense, which makes him a useful fit for teams looking for a smart, versatile slot/playmaker rather than just a highlight-reel athlete.[11][1]
