Kaleb Spencer is Virginia Tech’s do-it-all linebacker and tone-setter
In the 2025 season, Kaleb Spencer led Virginia Tech with 67 tackles and 9.0 tackles for loss, then entered 2026 as the Hokies’ most experienced returnee at linebacker. He stands out for his versatility, physical development, and disruptive playmaking—plus he was named to Bruce Feldman’s Freaks List, with reported offseason lifts of 375 bench, 565 squat, and 365 power clean. He’s not just productive; he brings edge, steadiness, and play-to-play intensity, making him a strong fit for a team that wants a sturdy, high-motor defender who can affect both run fits and backfield chaos.
