Dillon Schueler brings strike-throwing value and swing-and-miss upside to Cincinnati’s rotation mix
In the 2026 season, Schueler has given Cincinnati a reliable right-handed arm after arriving from UIC, where he earned Second Team All-MVC honors in 2025 with 62 strikeouts in 83.0 innings and a reputation for limiting damage (.266 batting average against). Cincinnati has used him in a starter role, and early-team coverage notes he’s been effective in short starts with a 2.84 ERA through his first year at UC, plus a 4-strikeout showing against Auburn. He looks like a fit for teams wanting competitiveness, experience, and a pitcher who can win with command, not just velocity.
