George Papas brings veteran shooting, size, and tough-minded guard play
In the 2021-22 season, George Papas averaged 14.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.0 assists for Monmouth, while hitting 35.3% from three and 86.4% at the line; earlier, he was a MAAC standout with elite perimeter volume, including 76 made threes and team-leading playmaking in 2021-22[8][9][14]. What makes him interesting is the combination of 6-5 guard size, reliable shooting touch, and a high-motor, versatile style that shows up in rebounds, defense, and secondary creation—not just scoring. He looks like a fit for teams needing a mature, spacing-first guard who can handle pressure and do the little things without needing the ball every trip.
