Aidan Lombardi is giving NM State a steady, timely infield bat
In the 2026 season, Aidan Lombardi has been a useful run producer for New Mexico State, batting .286 with an .883 OPS while driving in 20 runs and adding 4 home runs across 25 games. He’s shown a knack for coming through in key spots, including a four-RBI game and multiple multi-hit outings, which hints at a player who can swing momentum, not just pad lines. The fit? Solid if you want a right-handed infield bat with some pop and competitive edge; less of a pure speed-and-glove profile, more of a grinder who can hurt you when pitchers get careless.
