All-CAA guard Janay Brantley brings scoring, toughness and two-way value to Stony Brook
Brantley emerged as Stony Brook’s leading scorer in 2025-26, earning All-CAA Second Team honors after averaging 12.4 points per game and ranking among the league’s better guards in free-throw percentage, steals, assists and minutes.[9] She gives a team a steady two-way presence: efficient enough to punish defenses, physical on the glass for a guard, and disruptive defensively, with a reputation for logging heavy minutes and producing in big moments such as multiple 20-point games.[9][16]
