JR Jacobs brings pace, passing, and pesky defense to the Privateers
In the 2024-25 season, Terrance "JR" Jacobs emerged as a steady table-setter for New Orleans, averaging 8.2 assists at Walters State before arriving at UNO, and he carried that creator profile into the Privateers’ backcourt with plus vision, quickness, and on-ball pressure. He also showed he can pop for a big night when needed, including a 20-point, 4-steal performance in a March 2025 game, which hints at real two-way juice. At 5-foot-10, he’s not built to win with size, but if your team needs a fearless lead guard who can organize offense and crank up the tempo, he fits the bill nicely.
