Samford two-way infielder/lefty arm Jackson Harris brings contact bat and real defensive value
Jackson Harris is a left-handed hitter with a polished, line-drive oriented swing, above-average bat strength, and the versatility to help both infield and on the mound; Samford’s roster notes show he already produced a .252 average with 8 doubles, 2 triples, and 15 RBI as a freshman while appearing in 51 games and starting 29, which points to immediate trust and durability[4]. What makes him interesting is the combination of controllable offensive mechanics, solid receiving/arm traits from earlier evaluations, and a profile that fits teams looking for a tough, competitive role player who can impact the game in multiple ways rather than just one tool[1][4].
