Hampton’s steady long-snap specialist with a durable snap-to-start profile
Alexander Labenow is Hampton’s long snapper and a quietly important specialist who has already seen game action for the Pirates in the 2025 season, after transferring from Bluefield State and logging three years as a high-school long snapper. He brings size, experience, and role-specific reliability—exactly the kind of under-the-radar consistency coaches love—but there aren’t public stats to grade him the way you would a skill-position player. For roster fit, he profiles as a dependable depth-and-specialteams piece rather than a headline-maker, with the upside that his experience helps stabilize field-goal and punt operations.
