Pacific’s 6-foot-2 righty has shown starter-level innings and strikeout ability, but command remains the swing skill
In the 2026 season, Regan Carter posted a 7.97 ERA with 36 strikeouts in 35.0 innings for Pacific, showing enough swing-and-miss to matter while also allowing too much traffic on the bases. He also delivered seven strong innings in a key 2025 win over Pepperdine, which suggests he can settle in and compete deep into games when his stuff is working. For a staff, Carter is intriguing because he has real starter size and flashes durability, but the fit depends on whether your team can sharpen his command and trim the runs against.
