6'5" lefty Daniel Duley gives Oakland a projectable, strikeout-minded arm
In the 2025 season, Daniel Duley showed real value for Oakland as a long, left-handed pitcher who can miss bats and work multiple innings, posting a 4.33 ERA with 30 strikeouts in 35.1 innings while also logging a 2.70 ERA early in conference play. He’s intriguing because the frame is pro-style, the arm action is projectable, and his mound profile has gotten praise for easy effort and athletic balance; the tradeoff is that command can still waver at times. If you want a developmental LHP with upside, he’s worth the look.
