Toolsy outfielder with real center-field upside, now headed for more run
Jaxsyn Durst is a former top-500 prep prospect and top-10 Nevada outfielder whose calling card is athletic defense across all three outfield spots, with sources noting he can handle center field at a high level. In his lone 2026 season at Arizona State, he appeared in just three games and went 0-for-2 with a walk, so the sample is tiny, but the upside is clear: speed, defensive versatility, and a competitive profile that scouts liked coming out of Bishop Manogue. He now looks like a fit for a program that values range and development.
