Rom Kellis V brings middle-order pop and defensive versatility to UNC's lineup
Rom Kellis V is a senior OF/C for North Carolina who profiles as a physical, right-handed bat with legitimate power and position flexibility, a combo that makes him useful in both lineup construction and roster fit. In 2026, he has hit .297 for UNC, showing he can contribute beyond raw slugging, and his background suggests a run-producing profile rather than a one-tool player. At 6-foot-1, 203 pounds, he stands out for strength, durability, and the ability to handle either the outfield or catcher role, which is valuable for a team that wants lineup juice without sacrificing flexibility.
