Skye Johnson brings contact bat, versatility, and everyday reliability for New Mexico State
In the 2026 season, Skye Johnson appeared in 49 games with 45 starts for New Mexico State, hitting .303 with 43 hits, 4 home runs, and 25 RBIs, which points to a steady, usable bat from a primary outfield role.[6] She also has a track record of award-level production, earning Small Schools All-State second team honors plus a league MVP and All-CIF Division 6 selection in 2023, suggesting she can elevate in big moments.[1] For a team, the appeal is her blend of versatility, consistency, and proven competitiveness rather than pure flash.[4][6]
