Nessa McMillen is a developing Nebraska outfielder with high-upside bat speed
McMillen has been a depth piece for Nebraska in 2026, appearing in five games, but her value is tied to a proven high-school track record: a four-time all-state hitter who batted above .400 in every prep season and showed extra-base pop as a senior. Her best fit is as a multi-position outfield/utility player with contact skills, gap power, and upside if she earns more at-bats. Why care? She profiles as a sneaky breakout candidate rather than a finished product.
