Josh Butler gives ASU a power-arm, strike-throwing bullpen weapon
In the 2026 season, Josh Butler has been a valuable high-leverage right-hander for Arizona State, working out of the bullpen with a 2.79 ERA in eight appearances and 7 strikeouts, while also showing he can protect leads in short stints. He brings a pro-style frame at 6-foot-7 and 230 pounds, attacks the zone, and has already earned trust in key spots with multiple scoreless outings. The best part? He fits the mold of a tough, low-drama bullpen piece who can give a staff length or finish innings without much fuss.
