steady veteran guard with passing touch and defensive instincts
In the 2025-26 season, Anthony Evans is a veteran Alcorn State guard whose value shows up in the little things: he’s logged heavy minutes, brings a pass-first feel, and gives the Braves a reliable, experienced ball-handler with some defensive activity. His recent stat profile points to modest scoring efficiency, so the appeal is less “bucket-getter” and more “connective tissue” guard who can organize an offense, make timely plays, and compete every possession. If you need a poised, seasoned lead guard who won’t get rattled, he’s worth a look.
