ETSU's Rim-Protecting Big with Pro Potential
Lucas N'Guessan, the 6'10" French center for East Tennessee State, peaked at 8.9 PTS, 5.8 REB, and 1.1 BLK per game with a stellar 63.2 FG% in the 2019-20 season, showcasing elite post defense, patience, and shot-altering presence that forced Furman into tough shots early in his Bucs tenure. Now thriving professionally with Phoenix Hagen (3.9 PTS, 73.6 FG% in 2024-25), his rebounding tenacity and blocking instincts make him a differentiator for teams needing a reliable, high-motor big who elevates frontcourt depth—perfect fit if you value defensive anchors over flash.
