Alyssa Freeman brings defense-first grit to Covenant’s backcourt
In the 2025-26 season, Alyssa Freeman was a low-usage guard who gave Covenant energy minutes, appearing in 12 games and contributing 2 points, 4 rebounds, and a steal in 47 total minutes; she also had a notable bench stretch in 2024-25 with 10 appearances and 5 points. Covenant’s roster lists her as a 5'3" senior guard from Dawsonville, Ga., and the program highlights her faith-driven fit, work ethic, and growth mindset—traits that can matter as much as box-score production for teams looking for a resilient, team-first guard.
