Baylor’s big-bodied boundary corner with upside and four-star pedigree
In the 2025 season, Calvin Simpson-Hunt arrived at Baylor as a transfer from Ohio State and immediately looked like a developmental fit at cornerback, bringing a 6-foot, 215-pound frame and a former four-star reputation to the Bears’ secondary. His value is less about splashy box-score production and more about physical coverage traits, versatility, and SEC-style toughness on the outside. He has been used sparingly in college so far, so Baylor is banking on his ceiling, not just his stat line.
