Furman's Power-Hitting 3B with Elite Intensity and District Title Pedigree
Rachel Hawkins, a 5'10" right-handed third baseman for the Furman Paladins, stands out not just for her 2026 season stats (.283 BA, 2 HR, 14 RBI in 21 games) but for her relentless intensity and proven high-stakes performance. As a senior in 2025, she clubbed 9 homers and 27 RBIs, leading her team to a 19-9 record and a District 16 title, showcasing a differentiator of clutch reliability that raw stats miss. Her high school career at Coral Reef Barracudas (2024-25) featured a .349 BA and .506 OBP, indicating a strong foundational skill set. Hawkins is a team-first player with a 'grateful' personality (per her X profile) who brings two runs home with doubles, proving she elevates teammates. She is an ideal fit for teams needing a power-hitting 3B with championship experience, high intensity, and no major injury history reported. Why care? She delivers when it counts, combining power with consistency.
