Adam Katz is a versatile Davidson two-way piece with real bat-to-ball upside and emergency mound value
In 2025, Katz was a useful multi-role contributor for Davidson, appearing in 26 games as a two-way player and starting six times at DH while hitting .258 with a .716 OPS, and he also made 13 mound appearances with one save. His biggest differentiator is versatility: he can help in the lineup and give a staff innings, which matters for roster flexibility. The upside is more about reliability and adaptability than loud tools, but his two-way background, steady role, and strong prep pedigree make him a fit for teams that value depth and matchups over one-dimensional profiles.
