NCAA All-Time Steals King & Merrimack Scoring Machine
Juvaris Hayes, the 6'0" guard from Paterson, NJ, etched his name in history by breaking the NCAA all-time steals record with 452 career thefts in his senior 2023-24 season, topping a 17-year mark while amassing 1,932 points (7th in program history).[1] A two-time Defensive Player of the Year (NEC 2020, NE10 2019), his relentless intensity, quick hands, and leadership fueled Merrimack's record wins alongside NJ senior trio.[1][2] Post-college pro stint in Europe honed his savvy; injury-free grinder with winner's edge—prime fit for teams needing pesky, high-IQ defense that disrupts and scores (10.7 PPG career).[5] Care because he's a proven legend![1]
