Wenter Laloy brings length, upside, and special-teams grit to Alabama State’s secondary
In the 2025 season, Alabama State cornerback Wenter Laloy appeared in the Hornets’ roster as a 6'4", 187-pound sophomore with Orlando roots and prior experience at Lenoir-Rhyne, where he played in six games and recorded four tackles in 2024. His appeal is easy to spot: long frame, developmental upside, and a profile that fits press coverage and matchup work on the outside. He’s not yet a stat-sheet star, but that’s exactly why he’s interesting — this looks like a projectable DB with size that can create problems for receivers if his technique keeps catching up to his tools.
