In the 2026 season, Josiah Rainey is listed by Drake as a 6-foot, 175-pound sophomore wide receiver, and his background screams athletic upside: he earned all-state honors in high school and also competed in track and field.[2][7][11] Drake’s official bio says he recorded 81 tackles, 26 pass breakups, and 13 interceptions in prep football, which hints at ball skills, competitiveness, and real playmaking instincts rather than just straight-line speed.[2] Public stat pages currently show no meaningful college receiving production yet, so he looks more like a developmental add than an instant box-score star.[1][5]
