Chris Ford brings veteran rim protection and hard-nosed defense to Norfolk State
In the 2022-23 season, Chris Ford was a low-usage but high-value defensive forward for Norfolk State, playing in 28 of 33 games and ranking 10th in the MEAC with 0.6 blocks per game. His calling card was shot-blocking and physicality: he delivered a career-high seven blocks in one game and was named MEAC Defensive Player of the Week, a strong sign of real defensive impact. If your team needs a seasoned, team-first frontcourt defender who can change shots and accept a limited offensive role, Ford fits the mold nicely.
