Michigan ST Ace Christian Boivin Hits Transfer Portal with 1 Year Left
Christian Boivin, a 6-0/225 lb senior LB from Michigan, shone as a special teams standout in 2023 with 9 tackles across 15 games, a career-high 4 vs. ECU, and game-changing blocked punts recovered for TD vs. Minnesota and a safety vs. Maryland—earning ST Player of the Week honors twice.[1] His relentless hustle, core special teams reliability, and LB flashes make him a coach's dream for teams needing immediate impact without starter snaps. With one eligibility year remaining after entering the portal Dec 2024, he's a low-risk, high-energy fit for depth and upside.[2][4]
