Tim Ighoefe gives CBU a legit 7-foot anchor with rebounding, rim protection, and old-school size
Ighoefe is a massive 7-foot, 255-pound center for California Baptist who brings true paint presence, physicality, and the kind of rebounding/rim-protection value that can quietly swing a game. In the 2021-22 season at Georgetown, he appeared in 24 games with 20 starts and averaged 2.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, and later CBU usage/rotation data showed him as a steady frontcourt piece rather than a high-usage scorer. He’s a good fit if a team wants size, screen-setting, defensive rebounding, and an interior body who can make opponents work for every inch.
