Tatiana Matthews is Colgate’s rising shot-maker with poise and pop
In the 2024-25 season, Tatiana Matthews showed real freshman bite for Colgate, finishing with 45 points, 24 rebounds, and 4 assists while shooting 36.4% from the field and 27.3% from three in limited minutes; she also flashed a ceiling game with 14 points against Union and knocked down two threes against UCLA. The big hook: she was a 2024 Class 4A Girls Basketball Player of the Year in high school, and that scoring pedigree plus her guard size (5'9") suggests a confident, offense-minded fit who can develop into a useful combo guard if the consistency catches up to the talent.
