Capocci brings power stuff and late-inning swing-and-miss upside for UNCW
In the 2026 season, Francesco Capocci emerged as a useful bullpen arm for UNC Wilmington, making 20 appearances with 19 out of the bullpen and logging a career-high seven strikeouts in a four-inning relief outing against Elon on March 13, 2026. He’s a 6-foot-4, 215-pound right-hander with real strikeout ability, but his season also shows some volatility, including a few rough outings and a 1-3 record in 2026. If your staff wants size, relief depth, and a pitcher who can miss bats when he’s right, he’s worth a look.
