Yasmin Burrell brings power, polish and versatility to Coppin State
Burrell has already shown she can change a game for Coppin State, highlighted by a three-run homer and a 2-for-2, 3-RBI performance in a win over Norfolk State in 2026. She was a high-end prep prospect and 2024 Gatorade D.C. Player of the Year, known for leadership, defensive versatility and a strong work ethic; that combination makes her a useful fit for teams needing an infielder who can defend multiple spots and deliver real middle-order pop.
