In the 2025 season, Matthew Fuller posted 72 carries for 260 yards and 2 touchdowns, added 6 catches for 32 yards, and flashed pop with a 72-yard run; by spring 2026, South Carolina named him its Joe Morrison Offensive Player of the Spring, a strong signal he’s moved from depth piece to priority back.[1][2][9][12][14] Fuller is a 5-foot-11, 221-pound redshirt sophomore with three years of eligibility left, and the fit is easy to see: he brings size, straight-line burst, and enough college reps to trust, while still having upside if he can sharpen consistency behind a young Gamecock backfield.[2][11][12]
