Towering 6-8 RHP Bullpen Anchor for ULM Warhawks
Caleb Strmiska, a 6-8 junior right-hander transferred from McNeese, has been a reliable ULM reliever in 2026, earning a win vs. UNO (3/18) with scoreless frames, a 1-0 record highlighted in high-scoring games, and solid outings like 2.1 IP with 2 K's vs. Louisiana (3/28) despite allowing 2 ER. His career highs include 4 K's in a 2025 McNeese start and 6 saves in 2023 (0-2, 5.56 ERA, .182 opp BA). A strikeout artist with swing-and-miss stuff and a scoreless Northwoods League appearance, Strmiska's size, late-inning poise, and multi-level experience make him a high-upside fit for teams seeking a projectable closer prospect.
