Big-bodied TCU LB still waiting for his first real tape
Steppe enters the 2026 season as a 6-foot-2, 230-pound junior linebacker at TCU, but he still has no documented game stats or game action in his first two seasons, so the “current performance” story is more projection than production. The appeal is obvious: he has the frame and hometown pedigree to develop into a sturdy, downhill fit at linebacker, and TCU clearly still values him enough to keep him in the mix on the roster. If you want instant impact, he’s not that guy yet; if you want a developmental defender with size and runway, he’s worth monitoring.
