Trent Meyer is UNC Asheville’s seasoned backcourt spacer and steadying veteran
In the 2026 season, Trent Meyer profiles as a senior guard who brings veteran poise, shot-making, and backcourt stability for UNC Asheville. He’s best known as a strong three-point threat and a reliable complementary scorer, with the program describing him as one of the Big South’s better shooters and a player who emerged as a starter after years of learning behind established guards[1]. His earlier Asheville production included 9.7 points per game, 64 made threes, 125 assists, and 64 steals in the 2012-13 season, showing a blend of floor spacing and playmaking that should translate well for a team needing a composed, lower-drama connector[1][3].
