Resilient CF with Elite Speed and Walk-Off Intensity for Texas Tech
Jace Souza, Texas Tech's sophomore CF, is a high-intensity differentiator who overcame a season-starting injury to deliver 25 games of action in 2026, including 8 walks and a .171 BA with elite speed (82 team stolen bases). His differentiators include a walk-off mentality from his 2024 HS commitment, 74.4 mph bat speed, and a 6'2" frame that masks his agility. While his stats are modest (.171 BA, .326 OPS), his intensity, recovery from injury, and speed make him a perfect fit for teams needing a gritty, fast leadoff or defensive anchor who elevates play under pressure.
