Zaimir Hawk brings Iowa State size, grit, and steady rotation value
Zaimir Hawk is a 6-foot-4, 303-pound redshirt junior defensive tackle for Iowa State who has carved out real rotational value, playing all 14 games in the 2024 season and finishing with 9 tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, and a quarterback hurry. His calling card is sturdy interior size with dependable effort, not flashy pass-rush numbers, and that makes him a useful fit for teams that want a rugged, assignment-sound DL who can eat snaps and hold the point. He also survived an injury scare in 2025, so durability and recovery matter in his profile.
