Sam Thompson brings length, defense, and a proven Ohio State pedigree
Sam Thompson is best known as a versatile **6-7 forward** who made his mark at Ohio State with steady scoring, strong rebounding, and above-average defensive impact; in his 2014-15 Buckeyes season, he started all 35 games and averaged **10.2 points and 3.9 rebounds** per game, earning All-Big Ten recognition. He projects as a fit for teams that value energy, switchability, and low-drama production more than high-usage shot creation, though his profile suggests a complementary role rather than a primary offensive engine.
