7-foot Alabama A&M center Blaise Akonobi brings size, efficient scoring, and rebounding impact
Olisa Blaise Akonobi is a big-bodied, 7-foot center whose value starts with paint presence: in the 2022-23 season at Alabama A&M, he averaged 7.9 points, 7.9 rebounds, and shot 56.9% from the field, showing efficient interior production and reliable board work. ESPN lists him at 7.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in his Alabama A&M profile, while recent reports note he has missed games, so availability is a factor. His fit is strongest for teams needing size, screens, and a physical rim presence rather than perimeter skills or high-usage offense.
