Long, switchable wing guard with upside, but still in the quiet-growth phase
In the 2025-26 season, Saint Joseph’s guard Mekai Johnson played a limited role, appearing in 16 games and totaling 20 points, after a 2024-25 freshman year of 14 appearances, 13 points, and 12 rebounds. At 6-5 and 210 pounds, he brings a sturdy guard frame that can fit a physical, defense-first system, but his current value is more about development than production. If a team wants a long-term connector with size and upside, he’s intriguing; if it needs instant offense, he’s not that guy yet.
