Aidan von Zuben is emerging as Penn’s high-leverage lefty
In the 2026 season, Aidan von Zuben showed real value as a multi-inning left-handed arm for Penn, posting 23 strikeouts in 27.2 innings with two saves and a start, which tells you he’s trusted in pressure spots rather than just eating low-leverage frames. His appeal is the combo of strike-throwing, versatility, and late-inning poise—he worked cleanly in key March wins and has already been used as a starter and reliever. If you need a competitive, adaptable bullpen piece who can miss bats and handle traffic, he’s worth a hard look.
