Jadyn Nunez is a high-upside UNC freshman who already flashes impact bat speed and clutch pop
In the 2026 season, Jadyn Nunez has shown real upside for North Carolina, hitting .286/.394/.464 over 33 plate appearances and delivering a pinch-hit grand slam for his first collegiate hit. The 6-foot-1 right-handed OF brings an athletic frame, above-average arm strength, and developing power, with prep evaluations also praising his loose arm and quickness. What makes him interesting beyond the box score: he’s already been trusted in big moments, and his profile fits a player whose tools can keep growing if the contact quality keeps trending up.
