Dequon Miller brings veteran poise, shot-making, and leadership to Missouri State’s backcourt
Miller is a steady, experienced guard who earned attention at Missouri State as a junior-college transfer and later senior leader, including a noted 21-point breakout at Oklahoma State and recognition as MVC Newcomer of the Week. He is valued less for flash than for reliability: he can score in bursts, handle pressure moments, and set a professional tone for younger teammates. That combination makes him a strong fit for a team needing mature backcourt depth, competitive toughness, and someone who understands how to contribute without dominating the ball.
